Canada has several hundred CF personnel deployed in Iraq on two missions: Operation Impact, which is Canada’s contribution to the global coalition’s war against the Islamic State (ISIS), and the NATO mission to Iraq, a Baghdad-based training mission. It also maintains diplomatic offices in Baghdad and Erbil.
